Mixing Prints: Leopard + Stripes

Good Morning and Happy Labor Day, friends! Wow, I can't believe it's already September! Where the heck did the summer months go!! I'm not that mad about it though because fall is my FAVORITE season and September is my birthday month sooo woohoo! At the bottom of this post I'm sharing a few Labor Day sales that are still going on through the week!

Ok, so let's talk print mixing. One of the things I always stay true to is keeping your prints within the "sameish" color scheme. I'm mixing leopard print flats (which are basically a new neutral shoe) with a striped top, but they're both in the same color scheme- black, white, brown colors so it doesn't look over the top. I also think you need to be strategic in the items you're mixing. I probably wouldn't wear this striped top with a leopard skirt- it's too much. Opt for wearing one print and keeping the other to an accessory if you're afraid it may be too busy. A leopard print clutch could have gone with this outfit as well!
