Pucker Up

For as long as I can remember, I have been a lover of dresses and  and all things girly. I remember getting so excited to go shopping with my mom to a really unique dress store to find a homecoming, prom or pageant dress. We would go out of town to find the perfect dress and make a fun little road trip out of it. Going out of town also meant I would most likely not show up in the same dress as someone else in our prom group haha (ps that has actually never happened to me before because I always try and find something "different" well about a year ago I went to a wedding and during cocktail hour I felt someone tap me on my shoulder and she goes "I like your dress" once my eyes focused in a little, I realized....yep, we were wearing the same dress!)  Now that I am older and find that I am much busier than I used to be, Rent the Runway has become the holy grail of cocktail dresses and gowns whenever I have a wedding or fancy event coming up! They will send you two sizes to make sure it fits properly for your special event and you can even rent some jewelry or a designer clutch to complete your whole look! If you are unsure of which dress to wear or think you may change your mind last minute, RTR's unlimited program allows you three different pieces at a time! That means- rent a gown, cocktail dress and a jumpsuit and decide what you're going to wear once you have it! THIS Monique Lhuillier caught my eye the second I saw it! I LOVE the colors and the lip pattern is adorable and makes a statement! I paired the dress with a pair of open toe nude pumps (also love THESE and they are on sale!) and a small pink bag. I am obsessed with anything that sparkles so THESE earrings (that are super lightweight and only $12 at the moment) went perfectly with my hair up! If you want something fun for an upcoming graduation party, engagement party or wedding, I highly suggest this dress!
